Laura participated in a paint party in March of 2017 and fell in love with painting that day. She took several art classes through the community, lots of tutorials on-line, and some private lessons for a summer from Coleen Edelman.  Laura enjoys acrylics, watercolor, sketching, and mixed media. Laura worked as an assistant to Jodi McRaney-Rusho from 2019 – 2022 where she was introduced to glass art and has since incorporated glass medium into her repertoire.  

Laura is a member of the Glass Art Guild of Utah and is a member of the Art Advisory Committee with the city of North Salt Lake.

Laura loves knowing her artwork has touched someone’s heart and is thrilled when one of her pieces lights up someone’s face. 

Laura has created a semiannual backyard art sales event which includes other local artists.
